Hungriges Herz

Last name hungry, first name always.

After my morning run today ( 14km) my heart was nothing but hungry. So I called up my good friend Cora and we set up a lunch date at an approprietly named spot.

Sitting pretty along side the Fraunhoferstraße, sits the coolest cafe this side of glockenbach; Hungriges Herz

Gotta love those fantastic festive features

Definetly one of my favourite spots. Appropriet for all occasions. Amazing brunches, legendary lunches,  a comforting cup of coffee and naturally some delightful drinks when you need to catch up on gossip.

The atmosphere is cozy chic. Lovely lighting mixed with wood tables and of course some cozy, colourful cushion collections

but the main attraction is that marvelous menu.

Usually I am more of a brunch girl. I like a nice cup of coffee with a little something sweet on the side. My go to at Hungriges Herz is a soya cappucino with an extra shot and their fruity, fabulous açai bowl…

Açai of relief for berry enthusiasts

but today we were feeling more like lunch ladies.

be still my herz

So I traded in my usual Açai bowl for a token Herz Bowl.

This vegan friendly treat is a warm bulgar bowl with pureed sweet potato, hummus, spinach and tomatos. However, there are many options for add ons as well. Cora chose for hers to be topped with some chicken breast, while for my protein I chose some tasty tofu.

Needless to say, lunch was rather speedily and extremely enjoyed.

Hungriges Herz is definetly in my top ten list of Munich cafes, and not just because its literally outside my doorstep (which is definetly a total dream), but because it offers such a variety of choices for multiple occasions.

Its fresh and has great vegan and vegetarian options. Since I’ve gone plant based I have had to say good bye to lunching and brunching at some great places, but luckily not here

If your in the neighborhood I would recomend popping on by. Rain or shine its always a good place to be.

  1. Hallo Aspen,
